Hi everyone.
I'm Kirsty, a traveller from the UK, currently in South Africa but am heading Australia in February so am looking for places to volunteer there. Previous volunteering that I've done has been with animals/ wildlife / conservation so would be happy to continue with that but also interested in some building projects as would like to build my own tiny house in the future, where I produce my own energy, collect rain water, grow my own fruit and vegetables etc so would love to gain some experience on how to achieve my end goal. I'm also interested in crafts, especially learning local crafts. I'm happy working in the heat outdoors, getting dirty and just learning new skills. Happy trying any task

I have had a variety of different types of jobs in my life including working with the elderly, working with animals, retail, food preparation, quality assurance at a brewery, farm work as you can see I like to try my hand at everything

I love to learn new skills and am always up for a challenge. so even if I have never done something before, I will always give it my all. I especially love doing things that will help wildlife or the environment. as well as wildlife I also love crafts, some crafts I am good at are fusing glass, knitting, crocheting, sewing and jewellery making. would really like to learn some local crafts along my travels. Also interested in learning skills for when i build my own tiny home and growing my own fruit and vegetables
