Hello, hello!

My name is Karolina. I’m a 30-year-old, openhearted girl from Poland.

I was born in a beautiful small town in Poland. I finished Culture Studies. I worked in so many places and did a lot of things in my life. I worked in wineries, in theatres (as a communication specialist), in NGOs, and art galleries, I organized summer camps and theatre workshops for children and managed a culinary academy. I worked with artists, craftspeople, and neighbors, in small nonprofit organizations, and in big cultural institutions. I sold beautiful objects in a tiny shop with design and I guided exhibitions with strange installations and weird paintings. I liked it all!

Between all of those activities, I wrote essays, reviews, and stories for myself and newspapers. Writing is my favorite thing. Two years ago I had an opportunity to write a script and since then I have worked in film. I'm a script consultant. I write my scripts and this year I have started a documentary movie. It's a big challenge for me, I'm constantly trying and learning new things. I'm so excited about it!

I love movies and stories. I read a lot. I enjoy doing the ugliest ceramic objects and embroidery. I enjoy being in nature and love animals. I like to cook and eat good food. I like being with people.

There are so many things I want to experience!

Two years ago I did my first workaway travel. I met Ellie and Gijs and lived in a small village Azoia in Portugal for a month. That was a life-changing adventure, so I got back in a year to meet those beautiful people once again. And I will come back once again to stay in touch, show that I'm grateful, and work on this beautiful land full of oak trees.

What I have learned is that traveling makes me grow. I'm still looking for my way of living this life and meeting other people and sharing time is the most beautiful way to figure things out. I'm hard-working and responsible. I do care even if it's rocket science to me!

I enjoy taking care of plants and animals. I like to learn new things and skills, so building and crafting are also welcome! It would be pleasure to cook and bake, and help around the house.
