Hello eyeryone!
I'm Helena (27) from Germany. I’m excited to be here and would love to share a bit about myself.

I'm currently writing my master thesis to become a teacher, with a focus on english and physical education. Over the past 4 years I’ve already been working as a substitute teacher.
I grew up with three siblings – two sisters and a brother – and two pets, a dog and a cat. I absolutely adore animals; they bring so much joy and warmth into your life.

Sports play a significant role in my life. I am passionate about strength training and adventure sports. Whether I'm hiking, climbing, or mountain biking, I feel most at peace when I'm out in nature, exploring new places.

Apart from sports, music is my second passion. I play the piano, the guitar, and I sing. I love playing music for others, whether it’s a wedding, wine tastings, parties or sometimes busking on the streets. Playing music and doing sports have always been a way for me connecting with others.

During my vacations I spend most of the time traveling. Here, I prefer traveling to destinations where I can combine my passion for nature and sports. In summer, you can find me in the mountains, hiking, climbing or canoeing. During winter I spend time snowboarding in the alps. I also love being at the ocean, hiking along the cliffs, or just enjoying the ocean breeze at the beach.

As a child, my parents took me to many countries in a camping car. I’m so thankful for those experiences as they gave me the love for camping. I just need a tent, beautiful nature, and I’m the happiest person. Furthermore, when I travel, I love experiencing new cultures and learning new languages. Besides English, I speak French and have a basic understanding of Spanish.

To put “me” in a nutshell: I'm very outgoing, spontaneous, and open-minded. I enjoy meeting new people and making connections wherever I go.
