I'm a hard working, musical, and curious person eager to learn about living off the land in communities around the world. I come from rural Vermont, USA, and so I am used to being far from the bustle of city life and feel most at home around wildlife and in nature. I appreciate the values of slow living; unplugging from technology, learning from and alongside those around me, and connecting with the natural world. I'll be travelling around Europe for my gap year between high school and college (I'll be attending Vassar College), and in doing so I am hoping to learn about many different life paths and philosophies.

I have experience in childcare including care of disabled children and infants. I can cook and bake well, and I have some experience in gardening and farm animal care (especially goats!). I also have experience in general home maintenance, including cleaning and painting. I am a very experienced musician and can teach classical violin, some fiddle, and folk singing, including world folk music and harmony. I am a native English speaker and am conversational in Spanish.
