Heyy, my name is Lisa :)

I’m 20 years old and very excited about a new chapter in my life. After finishing my Abitur in 2025, I would like to explore the world a bit, discover new places and gain experiences beyond everyday life at home that challenge me and help me grow.
I believe that I would feel especially comfortable in Scandinavia, as I love nature and really appreciate a calmer, slower-paced way of life. I enjoy a cozy lifestyle with many beautiful moments and meaningful human connections. Animals play a very important role in my life and are a big part of who I am. I grew up with many different animals and therefore have a lot of experience in handling them. In Germany, I live together with my cat Morli (you can see her in the picture), which is why I am definitely a cat person. I also grew up with rabbits, a dog, chickens and goats. Until the age of 16, I rode horses regularly, so I have a very strong love for horses as well.
Animals mean a lot to me, and I treat them with care and responsibility, while always being open to learning more.
I also enjoy creative and practical work. I sew, do crafts, cook and like to try new things, but I also enjoy manual and hands-on tasks. Creating order brings me joy, whether it’s tidying up, decluttering, cleaning, gardening or taking care of animals. These are all activities where I feel useful and enjoy helping out.
In my free time, I like being outdoors and staying active. I enjoy going for walks or hikes, discovering new places and occasionally doing a workout to stay fit. Overall, I am an open and helpful person who enjoys learning new things, but I also need some time for myself from time to time to relax and recharge.
For our journey, I would like to buy a VW van and convert it a bit. My goal is to get to know the country better, travel more flexibly and, above all, create a meaningful project.
I speak fluent German, a bit of Spanish, and English at a level that is still a bit insecure but understandable. I understand English well and am highly motivated to become more confident through everyday life and conversations.
Through Workaway, I hope to meet new people, experience different ways of life, learn new skills and have a beautiful, unforgettable time full of new impressions.

And I’m Anton, hey :)
I am about to finish my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science. After this intense period, I realized that I really need a break from my usual routine, to experience new environments and clear my head.
I grew up with animals, especially dogs, with whom I have a very close connection. You can see my dog Milo in the picture – he means a lot to me and I will definitely miss him, but I am even more excited to get to know new animals. I also grew up with cats and chickens and feel very comfortable around animals.
Through my studies, I have gained a strong technical understanding and generally really enjoy working with technology. When something doesn’t work, I try to understand it, find solutions and learn from the process. I can concentrate well on tasks, work calmly and carefully, and I also have good manual skills, even though I am aware that there is always more to learn.
As a person, I am rather calm, polite and attentive. I am a good listener, enjoy working in the background and value a respectful and friendly atmosphere. At the same time, I am looking forward to being around people more again during my Workaway experience, making new connections and consciously developing my social side.
I speak English a bit more confidently than Lisa, and together we can support each other well, learn from one another and communicate effectively. Overall, I am very much looking forward to a time full of new experiences, challenges and moments that push me out of my comfort zone, while also helping me broaden my perspective and recharge my energy.
We are really looking forward to getting to know you and supporting you wherever we can, while sharing an unforgettable and beautiful time together!
