Hello! We are a family of 4 getting ready for our next French adventure. I am Alejandra (Venezuela, 50), my husband is Rodrigo (Chile, 51), our son is Mateo (Ven-USA, 19) and our daughter is Catalina (Ven-USA, 13). We are a happy and easy going family living in San Diego, California. We are motivated and hardworking and we are not afraid of getting our hands dirty, having fun at the same time, while helping others achieve their dreams and helping them complete their projects.

Our purpose for this trip is to help our daughter, Catalina, get fluent in her French just like we did with Mateo when he was only 10 years old and we volunteered in France during 2 months over the summer. That was an amazing and unforgettable experience!

This summer of 2024 we will arrive June 15th and leave August 15th. During these 2 months we hope to move around France and stay with families with kids around the same age of Catalina to make it really fun for her!

Mateo is now an adult witch will make our family now even more productive. He is currently studying Environmental Science at the University of California Santa Barbara. We are all interested in projects where we can learn how to make good for our communities and our beautiful planet.

We love working for and with respectful, kind and friendly hosts that appreciate our hard work and positive energy.

Rodrigo: I am open to any job, but for this summer of 2024
I would like to do outdoor activities like gardening, farming, being a soccer coach, etc. I enjoy very much playing soccer and volleyball and I would like to be a trainer for kids. I love to spend time playing with my kids and their friends. I enjoy gardening and farm work (When I was growing up I spent all my summers at my grandparent's farm in Chile helping with their animals (horses, sheep & chickens) and their olive trees, corn fields, and vegetables. I love the whole process of agriculture. I have experience managing our bed and breakfast in Venezuela (still operating) and doing property management for our short-term rentals listed in Airbnb in the US. Experienced driver. I studied international business.

Alejandra: I love traveling, gardening, cooking, reading, dancing, movies, and protecting nature, animals, trees, and people. I am the mother of two wonderful children, Mateo (19) and Catalina (13), so I have plenty of experience with kids. I love all animals too. Rodrigo and I have worked together for over 20 years and I believe that we are good team. I enjoy making any garden better (edible or not). I have a passion for cooking and I love to help others to heal with food. I have experience doing everything for our bed and breakfast in Venezuela and our Airbnb's in the US. I enjoy very much ALL related to personal and spiritual growth. I studied architecture.

Since we are traveling with our two children we are looking for a place where they will be welcomed. Our kids are very polite, sweet and they are always ready to help. We would love to find a place where Mateo can work and learn something related to the environment. For Catalina we would love to find a family with kids her age or a great summer camp so that she can learn French while we are working. Otherwise, if that is not possible, they will be so happy to help in any project the 4 of us are involved in.
