Hi everyone,

Hey everyone!
my name is Berit, I‘m 21 years old and from Germany! Even though I’m usually very busy with uni I’m still trying to go on chasing my dream of getting to see as much of this beautiful earth as possible. In 2022 my wanderlust has taken me to Texas as I got the chance to visit an American high school there for one semester. Getting to live there with a host family was simply the best and richest experience of my life so far. After graduating high school I got to live with a Canadian Workaway host family which was just as amazing.

I love to connect with new people, new cultures and to explore new surroundings. I’m a big fan of spending my time in nature while hiking or being with animals. Besides me being very considerate and thoughtful, I definitely have a let’s-do-it-mindset and I love to get things done.


Therefore I’m asking you to let me volunteer ;)

Whether it comes to prepare guestrooms, to saddle horses, to cook meals, to welcome guests, to muck out the stables, or to accompany riding tours, I would help wherever it is needed…

Here’s an insight into my work experiences so far…

Volunteered on a German horse ranch in S
summer breaks:
- in summer break the owners of my hometown‘s horse ranch welcomed guests who had booked courses and riding tours. In terms of that I used to help out there a lot by taking care of guests and horses, for instance saddling up the horses, and guiding the guests on riding tours.

Five months of volunteering in hospitals
- worked two months in German hospitals
- lived for three months in Switzerland and worked in a Swiss hospital

Six months of working as a waitress in a restaurant
