I am 68, originally from Canada, and a native English speaker. I speak German and have a German passport too.
I am currently in the UK on a settlement visa (I taught English in London for 10 years). I have also worked in China, Germany, Russia and Sudan.

I am hard-working, honest and patient. My hobbies are travel, reading, and films. I am fit and enjoy going to the gym.

I lost my phone earlier in the year. My Workaway account was connected to a Hotmail address I no longer had control of, and so I couldn't revive it. I had a Workaway letter of recommendation that contains feedback from earlier hosts.

I speak and write excellent English, and have worked as an English language teacher for many years, mostly in England but also in China, Sudan, Russia and Germany. I could probably teach German although I have only done this once.

I tend to think I can do anything I put my mind to (which is to say that I am overconfident :) but I enjoy trying new things.

I'm writing this on my last evening before I leave Busselton. As others have said, the family is intelligent, fun and kind, and the dog is indeed cute. My only complaint is about the insidious, tenacious weeds in Australia (well some of them anyway...) :)

Celia is a very responsible teacher. She asked me a lot about the children's learning before arriving and prepared a lot of learning materials. Her class is very lively and interesting, my daughters like it very much. She is really a very serious teacher and she has helped our family a lot. I am grateful.
