Hi, I’m Alphin (she/her) 👋

31, UX/UI designer, founder of a women’s health platform, and an aspiring digital nomad from the UK. After several years immersed in the fast-paced world of technology, I’m taking time to embrace a slower pace of life, learning from local communities, reconnecting with nature, and finding a healthier balance while continuing to build my women’s health project remotely.

Over the past few years I’ve been building a women’s health platform focused on supporting people living with PCOS. It’s a project that’s very close to my heart, and while I continue working on it remotely, I’m equally committed to finding a healthier balance between meaningful work and meaningful living.

My goal through Workaway isn’t simply to travel, it’s to immerse myself in different ways of life, learn practical skills, meet kind and like-minded people, and contribute wherever I can.

I love spending time outdoors and would happily exchange screen time for time on a farm, exploring the mountains or getting to know others ways of living. I’m particularly interested in permaculture, sustainable living, farming, pottery, DIY projects, woodworking, yoga, meditation, hiking, and learning traditional crafts. I enjoy creating things with my hands just as much as I enjoy designing digital products.

I’m naturally curious, calm, respectful, and always happy to lend a hand. Whether it’s helping with gardening, caring for animals, painting, building projects, cooking, organising, or simply being part of daily community life, I enjoy learning by doing.

For me, Workaway is about more than volunteering, it’s about sharing stories, building friendships, experiencing different cultures, and finding inspiration from people who live intentionally. I hope to leave every place having contributed positively while taking away new skills, perspectives, and memories.

I’d love to meet people who value community, creativity, sustainability, and a slower, more mindful way of life. If that sounds like you, I’d be excited to be part of your journey.
