Hi there!
I am a 28 years old German who is looking to spend the next year doing workaways and traveling again! I did my first traveling in Canada for a year and did some shorter trips in the meantime but I was mostly busy finishing my apprenticeship as an electrician (so i have specialized skills in that area).
I finished the apprenticeship, worked in the field for a couple of years but I am off now and i cant wait to travel again!

I like to work in almost every field and I think I got the skills needed to be okay in most of the workaway working environments though there is always something new to learn and I am keen on that.
I would describe myself as a very open-minded person and a chill soul. I do meditate quite often and am a peaceful guy. I try to take life as it comes my way and that works well for me :)

I'll leave my very first workaway description/ bio below. I haven't touched it for 10 years (!), so it got quite an emotional value for me and its a relic of the past. And I think its hilarious!

Hi there,
I am an 18 year old Backpacker from Germany. First I want to say, that I am totally legal in Canada; I have a work permit upon July 2017, a SIN number and health insurance in the case something happens.
I am very interested in the Canadian lifestyle and I want to improve my English skills as well, so this is the reason, why I want to stay with locals. It would be great, if I could work in the exchange of accommodation and food. It is the best way to get a balancing ratio, where money plays no role. Because I am so interested in staying with locals, I couchsurf through Vancouver right know. But it would be possible for me to start working tomorrow.
I am a very open-minded person and I think you should first try something, before you form your opinion. I am always friendly, drink mostly no alcohol and I hate violence in every way. The topic area around organic farming is something, that I would love to get to know.
There are so many awesome things, ideas, lifestyles, persons out there in the world and I want to explore them all, so it would be cool, if my host is special in one way.
