About Me:
Hi, I’m Yuhi, a 27-year-old from Japan. I was born and raised in Fukuoka and later moved to Okinawa for work. Okinawa is a unique island with its own history and culture, distinct from other parts of Japan. Living there taught me the beauty of embracing cultural differences and the joy of exploring the unknown. I believe that understanding new cultures and witnessing new landscapes is what truly enriches my life.

Skills & Experience:
I love staying active and being in nature. I played American football during my student years, and currently, I keep fit by running marathons and training at the gym. I am physically strong and have plenty of stamina for demanding manual labor. On my days off, I enjoy camping in the mountains or relaxing on the beach. Since my hobby is motorcycling, I have experience with basic bike maintenance and am very comfortable using various tools. I’m happy to help with any mechanical or outdoor projects!

About Me:
Hi, I’m Momoka, a 28-year-old from Japan. I was born and raised in the beautiful islands of Okinawa. A two-week trip to the US during my university years sparked my deep interest in foreign cultures. After working in Japan for four years, I decided to move to the Netherlands. My recent experience at a language school in the Philippines further strengthened my passion for cross-cultural exchange. I believe that Workaway will be a truly unforgettable chapter in my journey.

Skills & Experience:
I studied architecture at a design university, where I gained hands-on experience working with wood and metal. Professionally, I worked as an interior designer, so I am proficient in creating architectural drawings using CAD and have experience managing progress on construction sites. My creative skills also extend to flower arrangement, pottery, and painting interior walls. I also love staying active as I played sports during my student years. Having grown up with a dog, I am very comfortable around animals and would love to help care for them!

We have both lived on our own for many years, so we are very comfortable with all kinds of housework, including cleaning, laundry, and cooking. We would love to share a bit of our culture by preparing Japanese home-cooked meals for you!

In Japan, I worked in finance and HR. My professional background has taught me to be responsible, organized, and always mindful of others' needs. I take pride in providing helpful service and approach every task with a sincere and hardworking attitude.

Momoka:
During my university years, I worked part-time in the hospitality industry for a long time. I have experience in customer service and making drinks/cocktails. I enjoy communicating with people and making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable.
