I would like to learn to speak English in exchange for a few hours of work a day in a quiet and pleasant place with a friendly atmosphere

Bonjour earthlings,
Bonjour earthlings,
As a French newly-retiree, I want to take advantage of my free time to travel by meeting people that I hope will be nice and quiet

I hope to be able to quickly improve my English in order to travel more easily; this in exchange for my work with English-speaking hosts
I have 4 grandchildren, soon to be 5, and 2 of them only speak English for the moment; This is my main motivation for learning this language

In my life, after brief higher education, I was a welder, a journalist, created/animated /directed a private local radio station and a real estate business manager: all that before 30 y o.
Then , during 10 years, we travelled in family, with our sailboat (in Mediterranean Sea, West Africa, the West Indies, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean)
Back to capitalism, to raise children, I was a truck driver, a mediator in working-class neighborhoods, an occupational psychologist for unemployed people, an organic market gardener, created and edited a monthly local newspaper, created and managed a non-profit association to learn computer science for free, especially for the poor people in the region, and sometimes in other countries: Haiti, Guinea, Mauritania...etc

So I have a bit of experience in a lot of areas and I'm used to being around animals and working hard
I have motorcycle, car and truck licenses, and like to do nothing, work indoors and outdoors, take care of animals and children, (am a grandfather) lend a hand, be of service, read, dream, do yoga, meditate, listen to music, ride a pedibus, bike or motorized vehicle, etc.
As I have traveled a lot, when I was younger, and children living on different continents (Gabon, Mauritius and Quebec/Japan) with companions from these countries,
I am very open-minded and curious about others
