Hi! My name is Virginie and I live in Quebec, Canada. :)
I am a 22 years old student in psychology at university: I am graduating in a few weeks. I am also interested by journalism, arts and creative work. I am also working with disabled children, and it is a job that brings me a lot of touching moments and where I learn many things, as a worker but also as a human. Before this work experience, I have worked as a a cleaner in hostel, as a waitress and cook in a restaurant and in a national park.
I really like music: I played guitar since I am 7 years old and also have some experience with playing piano and singing. My passions are everything connected to arts and crafts. As a very social person, I prioritize my relationships: it is important to me to give love to my friends and family and to make them happy. I appreciate nature, hiking and watching sunsets. I considere myself as altruist, funny (I hope), responsable and friendly. To me, it's important to respect people and commitments.
I already had a very positive experience with Workaway, during which I went to babysit in Belgium. I am a person who adapts easily to different situations and loves to discover new people and places. For this summer, I am looking for a place where I could help, live a positive experience and also bring positive moments to people. My first language is French and I have a good English base.

Que habilidades tienes?

- Working with children: I have worked for almost 2 years in a day camp with disabled children, in addition to babysitting since I was young.
- Customer service: I worked as a waitress in a restaurant/bakery. I love connecting with others and providing good service to customers. I have also been volunteering in a student café for over a year.
- Housekeeping: I worked as a housekeeper in a hotel, then as a housekeeping attendant in a national park.
