Hello! I am Tristan, a 19 year old from Spain. I'm Spanish, French and Canadian. I am currently traveling during my gap year, exploring the world and myself, rethinking happiness, success, rest, change and love. The questions that guide and animate me are: How can I learn to inspire others and be inspired by them? What can we learn from change? I love learning, playing basketball, reading, singing, food, movies, One Piece, wood carving and forests. I am incredibly privileged to have studied at UWC and to now be a Fellow in The Flight School. During this year I want to learn about everything, although I am especially interested in farming, Indigenous communities and ecosystems.

I am hard working and a fast learner, very good at following instructions. I consider myself a generalist, knowing a bit of everything but not specialized in anything. I am fit and able to do physical work. I have experience wood-working. I am good with kids and was a camp counselor this summer. I love to cook, although I still have a lot to learn. I am decent with technology.

My stay with Hiroe and Jos was incredible. It was a very peaceful time to work in the mornings and rest and talk in the evenings. They were super welcoming and very thoughtful, always took care of us. The work was entertaining and simple, but you "get you hands dirty" as they said. Dejado por el anfitrión (Help with eco project and ...) para el workawayer ()

Tristán cumplió el objetivo de su estadía. Le tomo una semana de más, más calor y mosquitos, pero terminó el tallado de madera que se había propuesto. Pese a ser tan joven es una persona seria y que termina lo que empieza. Felicidades Tristán. Un Gusto haberte tenido acá.

Daniel ha sido el mejor anfitrión del mundo!!! Muy generoso, con una comunicación muy clara y una experiencia única. La jungla de alrededor de la casa es preciosa, y si que hay muchos mosquitos, pero hay cocos y fruta para coger directo del árbol siempre!!
