Hello, my name is Rosmarie, I have many origins, and I'm very openminded and enthusiastic.
Born of an Italian mother and a Swiss-German father, I grew up in Italy and Germany.
I have lived most of my life in France, on Reunion Island and for 2 years in Africa. I have 3 children, 2 of whom live in France and one in Argentina.
I left in 2020 to escape routine and preconceived ideas, and I wanted to discover other horizons, to be closer to nature and the animals to which I feel very connected.
Just before Covid, I went on an adventure trip and had the opportunity to do my first Workaway in Thailand, in an elephant sanctuary, where we prepared meals for the elephants, welcomed tourists and helped to create a museum about elephants, by creating decorations and signs translated into different languages. There were around ten of us volunteers from different countries and it was very interesting to work together and share our respective knowledge.

My professional activities have always been varied.
I'm a translator in German/French/Italian, languages I speak fluently, and I also speak English and a little Spanish.
I also do theatre and have given courses and produced plays with large groups of people.
And I've taught German at various levels.
I'm also a photographer when I get the chance and I'd be delighted to take photos or videos for you to post on internet.
But I can also help with DIY, painting walls or laying tiles. Making meals, accompanying groups or anything else.
I'm very open and happy to lend a hand. I adapt easily.
I could also do some Chi Gong lessons.

Today I'd be very happy to work and help in a guest house or with (wild) animals. I've always been attracted to them and I really enjoyed my experience in Thailand with the elephants.

I hope that my application will interest you and that you can give me an answer so that I can book a plane to come as soon as possible.
I was thinking of coming at the end of December for 3 or 4 weeks.
