Tom: I am an outgoing, fun and friendly individual who loves the outdoors, animals, making friends and connections with others. I am very much into fitness, sports and overall health. Some of my passions are cooking and healthy eating, running, gym, climbing and many more. I live for finding new experiences and making the most of life while bringing joy to others.

Jakub: Hi, I’m Jakub from the UK, travelling to Australia to experience new places, meet people, and learn new skills along the way. I have a background in engineering and supervising, so I’m comfortable with hands-on work, problem solving, and teamwork, but I’m also adaptable and keen to learn whatever’s needed. I’m motivated by new experiences and connecting with people, and I find happiness in being outdoors, staying active, working towards something meaningful, and sharing good company and laughter.

Que habilidades tienes?

Tom: I am an English-speaking Product Design graduate with three years of hands on experience and qualifications in welding and fabrication. Alongside my technical background, I have a strong passion for food and cooking, which I actively pursue through running a food-focused social media account to both motivate myself and inspire others. I am physically fit, hardworking, and committed to achieving the highest standards in everything I do. As a strong team player, I enjoy taking on leadership responsibilities while also valuing collaboration and direction from others. Naturally creative, I enjoy designing, building, problem-solving, and discovering how things work. I am also highly motivated by continuous learning and strive to develop new skills and knowledge every day.

Jakub: I recently completed a Level 4 qualification in Manufacturing Engineering at the AMRC Training Centre, along with a Level 2 Supervisor course and Fire Warden training. I previously worked at McDonald’s as a Crew Trainer, where I developed strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills. I completed my education at All Saints Catholic High School, achieving a full set of GCSEs including English Language and Literature, as well as an A level in Polish — I speak both English and Polish fluently. Altogether, these experiences have made me adaptable, hardworking, and eager to keep learning new things, whether that’s practical work, teamwork, or trying something completely new.

Tom: I am a keen runner, having taken part in several charity 5k, 10k, and half marathon events. I also enjoy going to the gym and focusing on self-improvement through fitness. I have experience in both indoor and outdoor rock climbing and love spending time outdoors, particularly walking and learning more about plants and animals. At home, I have cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, fish, and snakes, which has given me a strong sense of responsibility and care for animals. I also enjoy growing my own plants, such as chillies, strawberries, and tomatoes, with chillies being a particular favorite as I use them to make homemade hot sauce.

Jakub: In my free time I enjoy keeping active — I go to the gym around four times a week and also like running, cycling, and climbing/bouldering. I love skiing when I get the chance, as it combines being outdoors with challenge and adventure. I’m passionate about music and enjoy making and mixing tracks, as well as exploring photography to capture new places and experiences. I like cooking and experimenting with different foods, and I also enjoy socialising with friends and meeting new people. I love travelling, exploring new surroundings, snorkelling and scuba diving, being outdoors in nature, spending time with my family, and looking after my dog. I’m always open to trying new activities whenever I get the chance.
