Hi! We’re Julia and Joscha, a couple with a shared love for hospitality, good food, nature, and hands-on projects. We’re currently looking to volunteer, learn new skills, and connect with inspiring people and places.

After working in Vancouver for half a year and spending a season at a remote Heli-skiing lodge in British Columbia, we’re now looking for a new and enriching experience. We’re excited to explore new places and connect with people from all walks of life. Hearing stories about what shaped others and what inspires them to live the way they do truly fascinates us.

Sharing meals, cooking together, and having honest, inspiring conversations are some of our favorite things. We both enjoy being active and outdoors—whether it’s hiking, working with our hands in the nature, or shooting hoops on a basketball court in the afternoon.:) We're eager to learn new skills, contribute with care and curiosity, and grow through the experience.

We’re here to step out of our comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and make new connections along the way. Looking forward to meeting you and sharing great moments together!

About Us

Julia
With over 14 years in the hospitality industry, I’ve worked in event planning, restaurant and catering services, and hotel operations. I love taking care of our plants and home, and even successfully grew mushrooms at home! I enjoy cooking, baking, and being outdoors in nature. I’m an organized, positive, and creative person who loves working in a team just as much as leading one. Bringing people together and creating feel-good vibes is what I’m all about.

Joscha
I also have a background in hospitality and recently worked as a sommelier in Vancouver. As part of my certification, I spent a month working at a winery (two weeks in spring, two in autumn), which was a great hands-on experience. I’ve also picked fruit and worked in the fields in Australia. We’re both into low-intervention or “natural” wines, so I often read up on those growing practices. We’re fascinated by growing, harvesting, and enjoying fresh, clean food—and we’re keen to keep learning more by doing.

My dad is a carpenter, and he taught me a lot over the years, so I’m comfortable working with wood and happy to help with small to medium DIY projects.

We love being outdoors and enjoy working in nature.

In our free time, we like to stay active: hiking, swimming, fishing etc. or spending time and a lot of passion in cooking sessions with friends and sharing good wine! And lately, we've been rediscovering the joy of playing cards—especially with a Spanish deck… haha! :)
