Hi there, I'm Hannah (although most people call me by my nickname "Sunshine"). I've been traveling and volunteering around the world for the last 5 years. I love to be in service to others and get to know people from different places. When I'm on my own I love to be creative and spend most of my time writing, making art, or playing ukelele. I am also a certified yoga teacher and lead workshops in free form dance. Before I was traveling I worked as a caretaker nurse aide for elderly people and have also spent years as a nanny for young kids. I am a natural caregiver and love to cook, clean, and lend a hand whenever I can.

I have been with workaway for nearly 6 years (new profile because I was sharing an account with a friend who isn't traveling anymore). I have done a variety of volunteer work including working on small farms, taking care of kids, caretaking for elderly people, working at hostils, and helping with social media marketing. I am very easygoing, I love being with people, helping out, and being creative.

I have so many hobbies that I would love to share including singing/songwriting on my ukelele, practicing yoga, free form dance, photography, drawing/painting, cooking, and herbalism.

A truly wonderful experience! I spent 1 month here at the spanish school. The staff is so warm and welcoming and everyone here works together to create an inclusive and friendly environment. Waw, we had an amazing time with Hanna/Sunshine as a volunteer! We made very rapid progress with the tasks because she is so hard working .and efficient.
