Hi, I’m Till, 27 years old and from Germany.

I’m currently getting ready to start a new chapter in Australia. I’ll arrive in Perth on 25 September on a Working Holiday visa and I’m looking forward to travelling around, meeting new people and getting to know the country beyond the usual tourist places.

Over the past few years, I’ve spent quite a lot of time travelling, surfing and climbing. I also worked several winter seasons in hospitality in Austria and Switzerland, and I have experience with practical work through a company specialising in compost toilets and sustainable sanitation. I enjoy working with my hands, learning new things and helping wherever I can.

I’m an open-minded, easy-going person who likes meeting people from different backgrounds and getting involved in everyday life. I’m happy to help with gardening, maintenance, building projects, cooking or whatever needs doing. I’m also used to living with other people and don’t mind getting my hands dirty.

Outside of work, I’m happiest outdoors — surfing, climbing, camping, cycling or simply exploring new places. I’m hoping to find Workaway hosts where I can contribute, learn something new and share a good experience together.

I am skilled with most tools and even learned welding when I was younger.

In germany I was working as a Rafting Guide, meaning I feel comfortable leading bigger groups of people.

In New Zealand I worked 3 months on a diary farm milking cows and also moving them with a bike, further more I worked on a kiwi farm for some time.

I have a licens to drive a car and are also able to ride motorbikes.
