My name is Shaurya & I’m from India🇮🇳

By profession, I am a Hospitality Consultant and I also conduct “Regenerative Wellness Retreats” in the Himalayas that focuses on healing of Self, Community & Planet 🌎

5 years ago, through Workaway , I embarked on a journey of finding my true passions:

• Photography/Videography
• Aesthetically curating & strategising Social Media for boutique hotels
• Curating activities/ experiences that leave a lasting imprint on travellers & local community.
• Touching the lives of people through holistic wellness programmes. ♥️
• Just Being 🏔️

On personal front, I use Art Therapy, yoga, reading, loving animals & just being as mediums to contain my true self.

Thanks to Workaway I get to explore beautiful places, meet my soul families in different parts of the world and touch people’s lives in any way I can. 💛

I have crafted various retreat plans & programmes with strong foundation on sustainability & spirituality ranging in meditations, creative arts, dance, yoga, natural therapy etc. The last retreat I conducted was in Meghalaya surrounded by the beautiful lush greenary.

I am passionate about Climate Change mitigating models. Created mock up sustainable venture for a global competition which topped in Southeast Asia. Moreover, I have reliable knowledge of green energy, sustainable materials & green lodging practises. ( My latest research report has been on the green lodging practises of the MOST GREEN HOTEL IN SINGAPORE )

Although I don’t own a DSLR ( yet ) but thanks to Iphone, it helps me relinquish my passion for photography. I see photography as meeting the soul through the lens; capturing emotions. ( Ps- you can slide in my pictures to see the shots )

- Good with pets & children🐶

I love dogs & children. I am myself a pet parent of 3 years old GS - Love. I love the responsibilities that comes with it - taking him on walk, grooming & playing with him. Also, I am popular as the person having bountiful maternal instincts. The manifestation of which is observed in me patiently listening to kids’ stories, answering their inquisitive questions & they vibe with me the best!

Lately, I have started slow living and just being…

Life really piques my interest & myself being an inquisitive soul loves to dig in about life.

I love listening to other people’s experiences & stories of their resilience through which they overcome their struggles.

Since my childhood, I used to day dream about travelling with my camera & dreams while listening to other people’s stories.

This same dream has brought me here & keeps me alive!
