Hey there! We’re Shaqa and Eli, two Persian girls traveling together :)

Shaqa:
I’m Shaqayeq, you can call me Shaqa :)
I recently graduated in Mathematics, and I feel like this is the perfect moment to step outside my comfort zone, explore the world, and discover what life really means beyond routines and equations.
Studying mathematics taught me much more than solving formulas. it taught me how to think logically, adapt to challenges, and find solutions even when things get complicated. I believe this mindset helps me a lot in everyday life too.
At the same time, I also have a creative and artistic side. I love painting, creating art, and expressing emotions through creativity.
Since I was 21, I’ve been traveling solo. Istanbul, Tbilisi, and Batumi were the first cities I explored alone, and those experiences changed me deeply.
Now I’m looking for something deeper and more meaningful than ordinary travel, and that’s exactly why I chose Workaway :)

Eli:
I’m Eli :) I’ve been working as a freelance animator for the past five years, creating animations for clients from different parts of the world.
I’m passionate about two things: My job and traveling. For me, both are ways of connecting with people, stories, and emotions.
I’ve always felt close to nature because my grandparents lived in a village, and a big part of my childhood was spent in beautiful pistachio gardens. Those memories made me appreciate simple living, peaceful environments, and life close to nature.
I enjoy learning new things, meeting people from different cultures, and experiencing life beyond tourism. I’m adaptable and happy to help wherever needed.

We’re both very excited for this new chapter, the people we’ll meet, and all the adventures waiting ahead :)
