We are making our first steps towards a new future; we sold our home, we went travelling, to learn, experience and hopefully find a new place we call home.

Hi! We are Vincent and Sanne, a young-ish couple from the Netherlands. We want to build a new life abroad. After 7 years of being very ill, Sanne made a full recovery against all odds. So, our dream of scouring the world in search of a new home is back on the agenda.

We want to experience nature, make new friends around the globe and learn new skills. All the while we search for a piece of nature where we can live, build a house, grow our own food and be happy.

We have been together for almost half our lives, and after a year travelling in Asia in 2015 we knew for sure, we want to find a beautiful spot to grow old together. We just don’t know where, nor have all the skills we need. So, here we are, ready to get rid of all our stuff, packed our backpacks and visit some amazing people all over the world for as long as we want, until we find our new life.

Que habilidades tienes?

Vincent is an engineer, works at Siemens Energy. He has skills all over the place (Sanne is typing this, obviously), especially in the customer and sales department, and of course knows a lot about energy and has technical knowledge. He is a smart guy, learns very quickly.

Sanne is a social worker, works in a psychiatric institution, and has worked with people with autism as well. For two years she has been a volunteer in an 8000m2 big organic vegetable garden, growing all kinds of tasty goodness. For one year she has been growing her own vegetables at a 500m2 greenhouse together with her friend. So mainly people-skills and some gardening skills.
She is also a Pranayama & breathwork teacher.

Of course, we have a lot more to offer besides this, but this is the main gist.

What else.. Not much really. We are so happy to have started our worldwide adventure! We started in Costa Rica in November 2025, and learned some Spanish first. We'll go on from here, looking for good places to stay and work, meet some great people and learn a thing or two. Looking forward to continueing this great adventure.
