My name is Leonie, I am from Germany, and I am 19 years old. I finished school this year and now I want to leave my familiar surroundings and explore the vast unknown world. I am particularly excited to get to know new cultures, exchange ideas with people, learn from them, and immerse myself in the breathtaking world. It is especially important for me to combine travel with a deeper purpose and support sustainable or social projects.

My curious, lively, open-minded, humorous, respectful, ... nature allows me to quickly connect with other people. I am also very team-oriented, can integrate well and communicate effectively, while always making sure to clearly communicate boundaries and respect those of others. I don't shy away from hard work, but rather look forward to every challenge that I can overcome and learn from.

My name is Ole Würker, born in 2003. After completing my school education, I made the decision to explore the world and therefore registered with Workaway. I have a deep passion for meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and continuously growing as an individual.

Spontaneity, creativity, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and strong teamwork skills are some of the qualities that define me. During my time in school, I managed to gain valuable experience by working part-time in various fields such as the hospitality industry and a moving company.

For me, it's all about gathering new experiences for my future life, and I believe that working in a different country is an ideal way to achieve that. I have a wide range of interests, and I am excited to forge new connections and absorb the diverse impressions that come my way.

We are eagerly looking forward to embarking on this work and journey through Workaway, where we hope to contribute our skills, learn from others, and make unforgettable memories along the way.

We are versatile and curious individuals who have tried our hands in various fields. We have gained experience working at a bar and in several areas of the hospitality industry, making us familiar with cash handling. However, we are also no strangers to physical labor, whether it be assisting at a moving company, harvesting oranges/olives, or working with local farmers.

We are also up for creative challenges. During our school years, we have already undertaken several projects, honing our teamwork skills.

In our free time, we engage in various sports activities such as climbing, swimming, skateboarding, running, playing Frisbee, and practicing slacklining. However, music also plays an important role for us. One of us plays the electric bass and is also active as a DJ in their spare time.
