We are traveling as a family of four for the first half of 2026. We are introducing our girls to Spanish language and new cultures. We are very active and love to swim, hike, bike & play!

Descripción

Hello! We are Oliver, Natasha, Ursula (10) and Ona (8). We are spending 6 months travelling and homeschooling and will be in Spain from mid April through early July 2026. We are an adventurous, independent and active family. We are self employed and run a small hotel in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia so will need some internet access and time to do a few hours of remote work per day. We have experience in tourism and hotels, housing development and property management/maintenance, events, and DIY projects. Oliver is a licensed building contractor and enjoys creative reconstruction. Natasha is an avid gardener and both children have experience with gardening and helping out around the house. Both of us speak Spanish and the girls are learning! We'd love the opportunity to help out on a cool project, have a cultural and language exchange. Ability to hang out with other families would be a plus!

Before we arrive in Spain we'll be spending 3 months in Central America in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras with a focus on homestays and learning Spanish. We both got certified to teach English as a second language 20 years ago and taught English in Prague.

We love hiking and biking and are likely to show up with bikes. The girls love art projects and building things. We love games and all sorts of outdoor adventures.
