Hello loves!

We are Molly and Ted, two curious minds that just finished our bachelor's degrees in Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources Planning. We are ready to move into the next phase of our lives of wandery exploration, connecting with different ecological systems and building on our understanding of the complex world we live in. Molly and Ted can often be found dancing to live music, identifying plants, and cooking yummy meals.
We are excited to be part of workaway for wow so many reasons. Here's a few: to further explore the bounds of ourselves, question our understanding of the world around us, and to gain knowledge from hosts about ecological restoration, ethical building practices, traditional agricultural practices, world perspectives that may differ from my our own, and a chance to connect with the natural environment we have never been in before.

Molly has an energizer, optimistic personality and Ted is often the one to balance the energy by offering a rational. steady, and relaxed mind to the space.

Molly been learning Spanish for 8 years and has a certificate from her university for her Spanish studies. However, she would love to improve her ability to communicate with native speakers. Ted has no experience with speaking Spanish.

Molly has a bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Planning and has a strong understanding of environmental policy, advocacy, and how to build a sustainable, healthy community. She has experience working for land protection organizations and providing sustainability education through her university Office of Sustainability. Molly has also worked on an organic animal and vegetable farm as well as a horticulture intern. She has experience with invasive species removal, crop planting, harvesting and processing, flower, shrub and tree pruning,

Ted has a wide range of work and educational experiences. He has recently finished his bachelor’s degree in environmental science and resource management. During his time at university, he worked with and studied plants and fungi in the campus greenhouses and herbarium. He has worked on soil and water conservation practices, including erosion mitigation structures and vegetation buffers. Ted spends most of his free time exploring his creative passion of drawing, inspired by scenes of nature. He also has been part of construction crews and has developed experience in pouring concrete and paver patios, framing houses, tree removal, and floor and roof installation.
