Salut! I’m Miriam :)
After a solid five-year delay, I’m finally setting off on the adventure I had planned right after graduating high school: traveling with an Interrail ticket and spending some quality time in France. I’m super excited to refresh my French, meet new people, and not just read about different ways of living – but actually experience and learn from them.
I’m deeply curious about how we can live in relation – with ourselves, with each other, and with this planet – and how we might transform our economic systems to better support individual well-being, strong communities, and a thriving environment. Workaway feels like a beautiful space to explore these ideas through real-life connection and collaboration.
I enjoy yoga, meditation, sports, cooking, singing, and spending time outdoors. I’m open-minded, kind-hearted, and always up for a good conversation, a shared meal, or a new perspective.
Even though I’ve traveled through Europe a lot before, this is my very first Workaway experience – and it feels like an exciting leap outside of my comfort zone. I’m looking forward to learning, contributing, and sharing beautiful moments along the way.

I have a background in sustainable business administration and a strong interest in topics like community, mindful living, and sustainable entrepreneurship. I'm happy to contribute in many ways – whether it’s helping with childcare, cooking healthy meals, organizing events, or supporting hosting tasks.
I’ve also worked in service and catering, so I’m comfortable in kitchen environments and enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests – and I’m always open to learning something new. I'm also curious about meditation, spirituality, and different ways of creating meaningful, connected lives – and happy to exchange thoughts or experiences in those areas too.
My native language is German, and I’d love to support anyone interested in learning or practicing it. In exchange, I’m excited to improve my French and English.
