I’m a 29 year old outdoor lover, artist and dancer. I recently stopped working as an event manager in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I’ve studied arts and culture studies, worked for music festivals, traveled and completed an anthropology master focussed on sustainability. Now I'm working in a bakery, in a food forest and learning how to be a creative counselor. Three of the things I find most energizing are being outdoors and active, dancing and creating things. These created things may be drawings or paintings, refurbished old furniture or nice meals. I always like to make new connections and learn from others. And laugh and dance together of course!

During my studies I have discovered my interest in human-nature relationships, and the distorted relationship many people nowadays have with the web of life. This is a main theme in my life, and I’m searching for ways to incorporate this interest into my daily life. I hope to find this social, of the grid place where my gardening, arts and DIY skills can be of use. During my previous Workaway experiences, I've helped out in construction too and ended up really enjoying it. So happy to help out here as well and learn some new skills!

When it comes to language skills I'm fluent in English and Dutch, but eager to learn other languages. I have experience gardening, as I've always helped my mom in the vegetable garden that provides most of our vegetables. I can draw and paint, and love to do DIY projects. I do not have the skills to do big carpentry projects, but always like to assist and learn! Also I like to think I'm a decent cook ;) and I can make tasty vegetarian meals.
