Hi there !
To introduce myself, I'm French, I'm 25, I'm psychologist, and planning to travel alone for a few months (or perhaps with encounters along the way) mainly by volunteering and hitchhiking. I see travel as a way to discover and learn new things, meet new people and cultures, and create wonderful connections and moments of sharing.
I'm interested in volunteering for these encounters and to provide all possible help I can for purposes I support, such as environmental protection, animal welfare, eco-responsible projects or developments, health and education promotion, and also cultural exchange, renovations or gardening...

I was able to travel extensively in my youth (backpacking, on road trip, on Erasmus, in a van...), which gave me a sense of human and travel values. I'm usually considered as open-minded, adaptable, and easygoing. I see myself as simple, positive and cheerful by nature, and I have developed patience, empathy, and awareness through working on myself and by my profession.

I enjoy discovering new places and meeting new people, sharing stories and personal anecdotes, but also board games and simple activities such as cooking, gardening, sports, meditation, watching movies...

I'm an ocean and cat lover, I care a lot about nature and animals and I do my best to consume sensibly in general and to eat locally and healthily.
In that sense, I enjoy walking in nature, biking, hiking, and nature cleanup walks. But I also enjoy visiting towns and villages and discovering local history. For me, these are playgrounds as I love photography and videography.

I'm also very attracted to various forms of art, and I love doing artistic/creative projects (renovation, upcycling, painting, drawing, sewing...). In my life, I would like to train in jewelry making, art therapy (and also massage, and perhaps aromatherapy).

Besides that, I'm very interested in wellness, personal development, psychology. I am curious to discuss different ways of thinking, living, and functioning (probably a professional bias), so I enjoy questioning cultures and debating social and societal subjects (or movies:).

After all, I'm very curious to get to know everyone and learn from everyone or anything, and I'm always willing to help, so I hope to be the volunteer you need!

Que habilidades tienes?

In terms of languages, I'm obviously fluent in French (my mother tongue), I speak English well (I can manage, let's say), and I have a basic knowledge of Spanish (leftovers from school).

With my creative and manual skills, I have explored various creative arts, as I like to create and decorate (painting, drawing, sewing, upcycling...), and I have been able to repaint a few walls, or upcycle some furniture.

I also really enjoy photography and videography, as well as editing, so I'm able to offer some shots.
I'm also familiar with basic computer tools and social media.

My studies in psychology have given me skills in active listening, empathy, adaptability, awareness (and organization), which help me in my social ease and in creating relationships.
I am trained in health promotion, so I can lead some workshops. And my interest in organizing games and parties has led me to host a few.

In the same spirit, I enjoy cooking for my family and friends, sometimes trying out new recipes. I'm very curious to learn about new cuisines, as well as gardening, which is still a very new skill for me but one that interests me. I'm totally eager to develop new skills in these future experiences!
