Hey I´m Leonie and since a couple of years I live and work as a Physiotherapist in the beautiful city of Leipzig.
This year I decided to take a little break from my job to explore a bit more Italy, discover the nature and to getting to know its rich culture and the people living there.
My italian language skills are rather basic , for now I can just do easy conversations but I would love to be at one point able to speak it fluently and to improve my language skills.
Most of my free time I spend cycling, hiking, dogsitting, doing yoga or also just having a good time with my friends.
And I´m also a big reader and on a calm winter Sunday I sometimes love to disappear for a couple of ours with my book and to forget everyting that surrounds me.
In summer you will find me most days in a small community garden that I share with a couple of friends. There we try to get along with the sometimes rather strict rules of a german Kleingartenvereinsordnung ( one of the long horrible german words) and our idea of creating a garden close to nature and a bit of wilderness included. So far we somehow always managed ;)!
Regarding gardening I´d also be very interested in learning more and sharing experiences.
I`m a very sociable person, I enjoy conversations, sharing stories and laughing together but I also appreciate time alone to recharge and to relish the silence.
Having lifed in shared flats for many years and working together with different kind of people everyday I learned to respect and value all different kinds of personalities and lifestyles and I`m looking forward to experience more of this.

Que habilidades tienes?

I know that german probably isn´t the most easiest language to learn but I`m always happy to help out if you want to learn and practise some of it without promising to be able to explain the sometimes confusing grammar correctly :).
Regarding gardening I just know the basics, like for example planting seeds, growing vegetables or a bit of tree cutting .
My family always had dogs and I do some dogsitting for friends from time to time so I`m familiar with taking care of them.
And of course regarding my job I can always try to help out or to give advice when it comes to aching body parts or as I do teach Yoga and Pilates in offering some lessons in case you´re interested.
I don`t know if my cooking skills are the best but i always love to try out new recipes and enjoy the activity of cooking a meal and then eating it together.
