Hi, I'm Leni!
I am 18 years old and from Germany, this summer (2025) I graduated from school. I decided to take a gap year between school and university and now I am looking forward to travel to Sweden/ Scandinavia in general from June to September 2026, mainly to meet new people, get to know the lifestyle and enjoy the beautiful nature there!
I love animals (especially horses and dogs), long walks in the forest, dancing, reading books, photography and good food (but vegetarian, please ;)).
I would descibe myself as a reliable, calm, patient and more or less spontaneous person.

Que habilidades tienes?

I have a lot of experience when it comes to taking care of animals, because of our own pets (horse, dog, bunnies, tortoises). I love to learn them new tricks (except for the tortoises haha), cuddle them and go for long rides with the horse I take care of. But of course I am also able to do the work that needs to be done when owning animals, such as cleaning the stable.
Recently, I did an internship in the field of equine therapy (I am also interested in psychology-related topics and want to study psychology after my gap year).
In addition, I get along well with children and am good at teaching/ explaining things (I regularly tutor two students in the subjects maths and english.). Plus, I am volunteering at the moment in childcare (until May 2026), so I have experience with taking care of children!
But I am definitely interested in learning many new things, too and would love to be a help for someone, no matter for what.

I love being outside. And I imagine it to be very nice to go for a swim or to do a canoeing trip in a lake in the forest.
I also enjoy playing any kind of board games, spending time together with other people and having a good laugh together. But I'm kind of an introvert, which means that every now and then some alone time is needed, too.
