Hello everyone!

It´s Mone :) I´d love to travel on a boat! Therefore Im searching for an opportunity to work or volunteer on whatever swims on the water.. preferably a sailingboat :)
My second wish is to learn everything
about cacao: how to cultivate, harvest, ferment and further process this magical plant.. as well as history and myth around cacao.. and the cultural embedding! Im quite into ceremonial cacao and looking forward to diving deeper in the world of cacaosito!

I´ve been in movement for some years now, mostly in southern Europe, on tour with my caravan. I lived some years on Canary Islands and I also had the chance for a deep dive into South America (I love Brazil!) and New Zealand. I recently traveled the northern part of Italy and last year went to Koh Phangan (cant say Thailand, i only made it to Koh Tao to make my Open Water divers lisence and came right back to Koh Phangan, I just couldnt leave this beautyful Island). Currently Im the very first time in Guatemala, enjoying life at the Lake Atitlan.

In general I feel quite attracted to islands.. mountains.. green jungle.. ocean.. Diverse nature and cultures.. good people.. being happy, easy going, open minded and connected to life and its beauty.

I studied Ethnology and Pedagogy, but mostly worked in the tourism sector. I enjoy a lot working at nice places.. I like to be in the gastronomy, I have experience as a barista, in the service, housekeeping, reception.. I like to cook, too. Best, if its fresh from the garden! I know how to plant and take care of the garden.. and I enjoy the work outside! I also enjoy welcoming people and be more in the social role, making everyone feel good and comfty.

Im searching for good times, nice projects and autenthic people and experiences.
Im easy going, close to nature, motivated and open minded.. Happy to live life to the fullest!

In general I understand myself as useful for many tasks and works, as I´m openminded for learning new things and not shy to try them out. Most working experiences I have in the pedagogical field.. I worked a lot with babies, kids and youth. I can be quite sociable and at the same time calm and caring. Aside of that I always jobbed in the gastronomy: as a barista, waitress, at the bar, making service.. In summer I work in the Swiss Alps in a beautiful mountain restaurant that also has some nice rooms. I really enjoy to welcome guests and make them feel comfortabe.
As I grew up on the countryside and we always had animals I feel also prepared for doing works with animals.. If someone shows me how to do it, I´m in. Same for gardening, I love it! I´m experienced in planting and growing stuff.. what a nice feeling when you can harvest out of your own garden! I also like to cook and bake.. the kitchen is always one of my favourite places :)

Its giving me a good feeling to be outside in nature, I feel like my energy is charged and I´m always curious about my surroundig area! Thats why I like to hike or just taking walks.. to get to know the area and the people. In the morning I usually do some Yoga and I always start my day with some tea :) I like to have a balance between "community" time and "myself" time.. I dont mind being by myself, even need that stillness every now and then but all in all I go with the flow and adapt to every lifestyle.
I´m vegetarian for a long time and I try to be conscious about my consumption.
For me its important to tolerate everyones philosophy. Everyone is free to chose his or her way of living, there´s no need to judge. I live my own convictions, if someone is interested I love to share my ideas :)
