Hello Dear Reader

My name is Kevin and I'm 29 years old, I'm Colombian but I've been living in Italy for 15 years, more precisely in Sesto Fiorentino (Tuscany, just 15 minutes from Florence).
I graduated as a dental technician and soon after I started working, actually, I started working as a fruit broker with my stepfather because I didn't like sedentary work. After about 3 years I left that job (since I worked nights and couldn't have a normal life) and I started working in a restaurant and from there my passion for food and wine started. Now I've been working in the restaurant industry for 6 years, I graduated as a Sommelier in January 2020 and here I am! I decided to join Workaway because I believe that only by traveling you can really know the world. I would like to travel all over the world but now I'm satisfied with just Europe.

I know a lot of things, I have lived alone since I was 20 years old, I have currently been living with my girlfriend for about 4 months, I have lived for almost 3 years with other people with whom I have remained friends.
I'm good at everything around the house, I like to cook and pair the right wine.
I’m good at gardening and with animals.
I have very little experience with painting but would love to improve it.
I have never built a house but am willing to learn!
I have harvested 2 times, once in Italy and once in Spain.
I had an amazing experience at Bordeaux in an amazing Château.
I like the family environment and would like to improve my techniques with children.
I am very energetic and want to get going and discover new things!
About 4 years ago I sold my car and now I get around by bike and pedal a lot of kilometers a week. I feel very proud of this for making a contribution, even if small, to not emitting Co2 into our atmosphere.
