Hi!

I'm Joyce from the Netherlands, currently traveling around Asia for the first time.

I've got quite some experience volunteering in Europe, mostly in eco-communities, which is a form of living I really enjoy. I've been studying permaculture over the past years and this is something I'm truly passionate about. Yippee, plants!

Other than that, I'm into analogue photography and art. Big animal lover as well! If there's a cat around, you've temporarily lost me, whoops.

This period of travel really means a time of development and reflection for me. I feel a bit tired of the usual backpacking, so I'm hoping to find a place to feel meaningful, contribute my energy and skills in a positive way and dive deeper into my surroundings, myself and my connections with other people.

I know quite some things about organic farming/permaculture, herbalism and sustainable living practices. I am an intermediate cook of generally healthy and vegetarian cuisine. Also, I really enjoy working with children and I'd say I'm quite good at it!

I really appreciate an atmosphere of clear communication, connection and tolerance. In a working setting, I'd say I'm a bit introverted but I still really appreciate it if there are usually other people around me.
