Hey there!
We are a friendly, open and social couple from Germany. After working in Germany for some years, we are now looking forward to get to know Central and South America and its people in the next two years. We would love to learn new things and share our streghts and skills with the local community. We want to enjoy every single day and life in general, grow and contribute to sustainable and social projects all over the world. And of course we are looking forward to improve our Spanish. :)

Que habilidades tienes?

Jens: I'm a passionate carpenter and in my three-year apprenticeship in Germany I learned how to create, build and install kitchens, doors, windows and general furniture mostly from massive wood and high qualitiy. I'm trained with industrial machines, hand and power tools. The last year I worked as a roofer and from summer 2021 until January 2022 I was working for a company which is specialized in electricity and sanitary installations. So I will get some basic knowledge about this, too. Before I started my apprenticeship I did a social volunteering year in Germany where I worked with minor refugees.
Furthermore I have basic skills in gardening and farming, since my grandfather was a shepherd and I grew up on my grandparents farm with dogs, many sheep and a big vegetable garden.

Maja:
Five years ago I finished my studies in social and educational studies and worked in university as a scientific assistant for a while. Afterwards I began to focus on social farming, horsebackriding therapy and worked in that area for some years. I have strong skills in the whole field of working with people (social work, counseling, hospitality). I am good in organizing and working with animals. I love to cook (mainly vegan, but while travelling vegetarian food is absolutely fine) and work in my vegetable garden. I am in the last semester of my masters degree (MSc Green Care - social work and therapy with animals, plants and nature) and will be a gardening and equine therapist afterwards.
