Hi there,
My names Janay - I'm a vet nurse and dog behavioural trainer and I have been working in this field for two decades.
Over the years I have travelled abroad and volunteered my time - working as a vet nurse or with animals on many projects. I had travelled and volunteered and spent time in South East Asia, Fiji, the Cook Islands, the Caribbean, the Balkans, Sri Lanka.
I also had the pleasure of exploring Europe by my van for 2years in 2023-2025.
I also like to volunteer with any garden work or helping with farming. I like a task or helping with teaching basic english or really anything to make a difference for myself and others. I enjoy to learn new skills and grow as a person.
I want to be able to live and enjoy some beautiful places with beautiful people.
I love nature and animals.
I am very easy going, happy to help with anything and everything, not afraid to get dirty.
I love a good laugh, enjoy meeting and getting to know new people but also happy to spend time by myself.

I am a vet nurse - so any animal work. I am hard working and keen to learn any new skill. I also am good with kids and have nanny/baby sitting background. I really enjoy cooking, and cleaning and I help with anything around the house, can do any basic farming and gardening work.
If I am shown how to do anything I am more than happy to give anything a go!

Thank you all so much for inviting me into your home and having me. I only stayed a week so was a short time but I had the best time. So welcoming and lovely, was very much a home environment. Wow well where do I start! Mayreau is such a small but complex amazing little island, I thought I would be bored here after a month as it’s such a tiny space in the world.
I stayed 2.5months being there over Xmas and NYE.
But the locals, the animals and the tasks kept me busy.

She helped mostly with our olive harvest and walking our dog.
Janay also helped serve Margaritas at Amandas birthday party !

Janay came to my land with her own campervan for a couple of days. She was a great help with some maintenance tasks in my garden and she cooked us a nice vegan meal. She's good company and interesting to talk to. See you soon!

Toby was great, just a genuine guy. Easy to talk to and communicate with, I had fun. His little set up is basic but in a great spot. Obviously the dogs are absolutely great! I enjoyed myself and I will hopefully see him again one day! Thanks again. :)

This was an amazing time, I stayed almost 3weeks (wish I had stayed longer)
Mom Tim, Amy and all the teachers were so welcoming and lovely.
The students are very cute and so little but learning lots so its fun to help!
