Hey!

my name is Jana, I am 29 years old and from Germany. I‘m a trained media designer and studying Asian Studies.

I’m in the final stage of my studies, currently writing my thesis about the illegal wildlife trade in Southeast Asia. Animals and nature are a big part of my life, and I love spending time outdoors.

Over the years, I’ve spent a lot of time traveling and doing work exchange and volunteer projects along the way. These experiences have taught me to adapt quickly, work responsibly, and enjoy learning from local communities wherever I go.

I’m an experienced rider and have worked on three horse ranches before – one in New Zealand and two in Spain – where I led riding tours, guided groups, and helped care for the horses. I’ve also worked in a hostel in Portugal, running the reception, organizing and guiding tours, and making sure guests had a great stay.
Besides that, I’ve volunteered with two street animal rescue programs and helped take care of many stray animals over the years.

I also lived in Southeast Asia for a year, where I took care of and rescued street animals on my own. Protecting and caring for animals has always been something that truly matters to me. Since I am a child, I have always had a special bond to animals of all kinds, they have always been a very important part of my life and my childhood dream was to become a vet. And still, I can't walk past any cat or dog that I see on the streets.

I’m easy-going, reliable, and always happy to learn new things. I love meeting people, discovering new places, and getting involved wherever I can. I am very open-minded and always looking forward to getting to know new people and building new friendships all over the world. My friends would consider me as a very fun, easy going person who always loves to share some happiness.
