Damn!! I never know what to say when I need to say something about me...
It's like on those times when you meet someone and you are asked to say something in a language you know (may be even your own) and suddenly you forget "literally EVERYTHING"

I lOVE cats, small cars with big tires, mechanics, nature (rain, storms, mountains, lakes, rivers, forests, hikes, sunsets, sunrises, winter, really cold temperatures, and white nights in the northern hemisphere), also: foreign languages...living abroad, philosophy, and over all discovering, trying new things and feeling useful.

I am calm, friendly (although sometimes too quiet), hardworking, curious, compromised. I like tinkering with stuff...
I believe I am mostly stoic, but perhaps I am more of a fatalist? I believe that "whatever will be, will be... and that nothing lasts an eternity"

Like many (who are also here (i assume) ) I'm trying to find my place in the world. I stream to be useful while i do it.

I was born in Mexico... I have lived in Thailand (volunteering with AFS as an English Teacher), the US (visiting my relatives), Poland (studying a semester abroad). I currently live in Arkhangelsk (Russia). I originally came for a year to learn the language (a childhood dream).I liked it so much...well, it's been almost 5 whole years despite world events, (and personal stuff that would take too long to explain in this little space)

According to my first university education, I am an English-Spanish translator/teacher. However, after many years I have far stranded from that.
In Russia: I sort of study to become a russian language teacher ... I also work part time in a cat shelter with over a hundred little sweet souls.

I tried Workaway for the first time in fall of 2024 during a one month adventure whose goal was attending my mom's wedding in England ... I LOVED THE EXPERIENCE.

I wrote quite a lot already for someone who didn't know what to say...
There is however, still a lot to share...

Que habilidades tienes?

I have lots of skills... but lately i prefer physical work waaay over the mental variety. Nevertheless it doesn't mean that I can't, or that i would refuse.
I know Spanish, English, French (used to be better), Russian.
I am a problem solver.
I am good with the elderly (I'm a good listener and walk partner), I am great with children (I always wanted to be an Aupair but...opportunities for men are few...and when i finally found one...COVID)
I like cooking.
I like animals... I specially adore cats.
I'm helpful, i am clean, i am tidy... I enjoy quite a lot tidying up and washing dishes.
I like that feeling when i feel like I'm useful and i do my best everytime.
I'm not affraid of getting dirty.

Algo más...

I have a bunch of hobbies:
Cooking, watching tv shows/movies, DIY projects, I can play some bass guitar...i'd love to learn guitar, but i have terrible memory.

I kind of want to get into youtube...maybe reading books, or doing subtitles or dubbing... or maybe doing Vlogs (after all i work in a cat shelter and it would be nice to support it in other ways besides my work)

I have house-sitted with cats here in russia 4 times

I really want to try sometime hitchhiking...
