Descripción

We are Hana and Patrick from New Zealand (Aotearoa), curious by nature and happiest when we're learning, connecting, and contributing. We are passionate about the environment and love being part of projects that care for the land (whenua) and communities that depend on it.

Cooking is one of Hana's biggest joys — I've worked as a chef and ran my own food truck for a while — and I love using food to bring people together. I’m also practical and hands-on, with experience in gardening, hospitality, waste reduction, and a good bit of DIY. I also have a mechanical engineering degree and have work experience in infrastructure, GIS, soil science, and software development.

Patrick is keen to get stuck in to hands on projects and also learn Spanish along the way. I have a mechanical engineering degree and architecture diploma and and passionate about building with natural materials. The performance of building materials and their circularity is where I thrive.
I am happiest when adventuring in nature, be it on the ocean, in the bush or in the snow.

What motivates us most is working alongside people who share their knowledge and passion. We value hard work, shared meals, and time outdoors — whether that’s tending to a garden, exploring new places, or lending a hand on a community project.
