Hey there, we are Greta & Mats from Germany.
We are two students who discovered travelling after finishing high school and have been in love with travelling ever since. We visited Egypt, fed dozens of street dogs there, we wild camped in Sweden and saw as much as we could of Eastern Europe’s facets.

Greta lives in Cologne and is 20. One of the ambitious school girls who loved math and now turned that into her dream studies: Physics. She is a super sweet and warm-hearted person, vegan and loves animals more than anything.

Mats (20) lives near Dortmund and studies social entrepreneurship, while also djing in North Rhine-Westphalia´s Techno scene. He is an ambitious gym-goer and loves to do sports in any kind of way. On top of that, he is politically active at his university, works at a foundation, organizes a startup competition and voluntarily works at a local bar. Mats is hard-working, diligent and loves Greta more than anything.

Together as a couple we would describe us as active. We are both fully passionate with our study programmes and all other side projects we have. When we travel, we travel and don´t hang around anywhere.

Life is short and therefore you gotta live it!!!!
That´s why we wanted to try out Workaway this summer, because semester break approaches. WE ARE SO EXCITED :)

Que habilidades tienes?

Diligence is one of Mats` core skills. He always works, studies or works out. A long time in gastronomy gave him a lot of social skills, speed and precision in everything he does. Apart from that, he also cooks passionatly since he lives alone and when he´s back at his parents place, he always does the gardening. While living in rome, working as a bartender he was lucky enough to learn some italian and enlarge his gastronomical and social skills. Where he lives now, he is politically active in his uni´s highest committee and loves to through parties at his place.

While Mats is the hands-on guy, Greta is really thoughtful, always thinks before she act and is thoroughly kind. Animals is what she most cares about. She was in Portugal, taking care of dogs and developed a strong vegan vision when she was 12. Just like Mats, she worked in gastronomy as well and stalled the stress. Right now, she studies physics at the University of Cologne and is ambitous to becoming an astrophysisist after finishing her bachelor, master and phd (professor probably too).

We would both consider ourselves as striving and open to learn anything new.
