Hello!
We are Francesco (29) and Mina (23), an Italian–Lao couple currently traveling in Thailand. We are looking for volunteer opportunities in schools to help teach English or scientific subjects.

Francesco: Native Italian, English C1

Mina: Native Lao, Thai B2, English B1

We are also interested in working with plants or animals, such as in gardens or farms.


Francesco:
I grew up in the countryside of northeastern Italy, a region known for its wine, where I developed a lifelong passion for nature and gardening. I recently graduated in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology and have eight years of experience tutoring students in scientific subjects.
I’m also passionate about cooking, DIY technology projects (Arduino, 3D printing), and exploring how science and technology can work together.
In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and piano, singing, and traveling to discover new cultures. I’ve volunteered as a gardener on Koh Rong Samloem and as a tourist guide in Luang Prabang.

Mina:

I was born and raised in Laos, where I developed a deep love for handcrafts, nature, and traditional Lao culture. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and have experience in handmade crafts such as ornamental flower making and decorative work. I also enjoy gardening, caring for plants and really love animals and spending time outdoors surrounded by nature.
I have learned traditional Lao weaving techniques, which allow me to express my creativity while keeping cultural traditions alive. I also love practicing yoga and meditation, which help me stay balanced and focused. I have a kind and patient personality and would love to work with and teach children, sharing creativity and cultural exchange.

Que habilidades tienes?

My skills are:

-I love cooking, especially Italian and asian food. I know how to cook the most traditional dishes but i love to experiment with flavors and spices to get the best out of the poorest ingredients.
-occasionally I worked in hotels in my region, Friuli Venezia Giulia. I know how to clean the rooms and I know how to treat guests making them feel at ease.
-I have experience with gardening and with plants in general, both for the love I have for the plant world since I was little but also for my studies which allowed me to learn a lot about this sector.
-I play guitar, bass, piano and i also like to sing.
-For the past six years I have worked as a private teacher helping middle and high school students with science subjects.
-one of my hobby is 3D printing.
