We are looking for a nice workaway spot in South-West Portugal for a month to start with. From there we would later travel to mid-Portugal and then to the North! :)

Descripción

We are Elise and Lianne, a Belgian-Dutch couple, 33 and 32 years old.
Lianne was born in a small village close to Utrecht (Netherlands). and moved to Amsterdam when she was 18 years old, and lives there now for 14 years.
Elise is born in Antwerp and moved to Amsterdam when she was 24 years old.

We both travelled a lot to countries out of Europe and when we met we shared the dream to experience a totally new country, where things are less individualistic, with less rules and less structure, as the Netherlands and live there for a while. We first started travelling around with our van and decided that we could live in it for a while together. Then we decided to leave in July 2023 together to experience 1 year of freedom in Portugal. We lived the first months in Lisbon, and now we want to continue travelling in the country in different work-away spots.

We are both a big fan of music (listening and Lianne also playing), dancing/partying, being in the nature and hiking, talking to people and connect. And to travel around and discover new places! Elise also loves to boulder (in nature) and is learning how to surf.

Que habilidades tienes?

We can both describe ourselves as very curious persons, who would like to know a lot about different topics. We used to work for years in bars and restaurant, so we are handy in terms of serving people food/drinks, cooking and welcoming to people.

We both worked for years as social workers (different groups) so we can both easily connect with people and make them feel at home.
We both like to work in the garden, learn new things about nature, and I find sustainability a very important topic.

Lianne used to babysit also for 7 years on two kids, so she can say she knows how to deal with children and take care of them.

As we said, we are open to learn a lot of new different things, so we can discuss whatever is needed!

Lianne would love to interact with people, sit at the fire and chat and play music, and I do love board games! I am also a big fan of swimming so would be great to go for some dives!

Elise is studying Psychology at the moment so she loves to talk about topics related to her study! She likes to surf, hike and likes to make things beautiful!
