Hello,
we are Elena and Paula from Krefeld, Germany.

A little bit about us:
After finishing school in June, we wanted to travel and explore different countries and their ways of living.
Thats why, we went to Sweden for 4 weeks in August on our first workaway with our friends Luzie and Svea who we already know since second grade. In Sweden we raked many lawns, stacked timber, painted and cleaned a hotel.
For September we had a interrail ticket that we used to visit a few countries in southeastern Europe, like Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia. Our interrail trip ended in Italy, so we did a workaway on a farm in the south of Italy where we prepared an olive grove for harvesting and did some general maintenance.
After spending two weeks on the farm, we took a train to Austria. In Austria, we spend two weeks on a small farm and had several tasks in the garden, like weeding, harvesting, doing some general maintenance around the house and building a Benjes hedge.

We already have experience with catering because of our jobs as waitresses. Gardening is one of our hobbies and we are intrested in learning more about perma culture.
Last summer we renovated a tiny garden house.
We love to work with animals and we also have some experience in it because Paula had chickens for about ten years and has a dog. Luzie has a cat and two dogs. We take care of each others pets during holidays. We love to take a walk with the dogs in our forest nearby.
In our freetime we enjoy doing sports like Hockey and going to the gym. Furthermore, we are often going on short trips with our bikes because cities like Düsseldorf and Venlo are well attainable from Krefeld.
On some of our other trips we went to the Netherlands to camp.
We are both fluent in german and english and Paula can speak some spanish.
