Searching in Lanzarote from March... feel free to contact us ;)

Ciao! We are caterina (23) and jaco (30) two italian travellers, we met two years ago in gran canaria volunteering in an hostel and then we started travelling together!

Our Volunteer Experiences:
- Gran Canaria (Las Palmas), where we volunteered in two different hostels (Columbus and Jungle House) we did housekeeping, reception, cleaning work.
- Morocco (Kelaa des saraghna), where we worked in "the english school", (teaching Italian and managing the school’s Instagram page.)
- Bulgaria (Veliko Tarnovo) in "Hostel Mostel" doing tasks of cleaning, doing beds, reception, ecc
-Turkey (Goreme) in "Kose Pansion" hostel doing breakfast and general cleanings.
- France (Chinon) it was actual work, not volunteer. we did the grape harvest for a month
- Portugal (Baleal). Just Jaco in "Baleal Surf House" cleaning and doing check ins
- Portugal (Alentejo) in "Quinta Camarena" doing woodwork and other outdoor jobs

If you can't find us probably we are in the kitchen cooking and experimenting.
We both speak Italian, English, and Spanish.
Caterina also speaks a bit of Portuguese (brazilian) and French.
Jaco speaks some Darija (Moroccan Arabic).

CATE is from Rimini, she is the one who teaches how to swear in italian. She is a photographer and creative girl who loves music, sewing, and art. Cate loves cats, even if she's alergic to them (especially black cats). She can stay all the day at the beach under the sun burning with a book or talking with people or in nature and creating things like handmade clothes and crafts and reading tarots while listening to italian trap. She has also a camera, she works as photographer for hotels. She studied in nursing school , so has the basic skills to survive and to take care of others when they get hurt or sick

JACO, from Milan is a crazy metalhead passionate about drawing, music and sport. he is a graphic designer, plays the electric guitar, and often takes part in jam sessions. He is crazy about sports and outdoor activities, he does calistenics even under the rain. He loves animal and taking care of them, especially dogs, but he cuddle even spiders. And last but not least he is a good cook, all the years spent in England haven’t taken away the Italian that’s inside him, but if he talks in english you will never guess that he is not native.

Hospitality - experience with working at the reception, waiters and bartenders

Outdoor work – We enjoy working outside and are not afraid to get our hands dirty. We can help in gardens or with basic maintenance.

Housekeeping – Cleaning, laundry, organizing, helping in the kitchen, doing beds

Cooking – We have experience working in kitchens in italy, We can prepare Italian meals and are curious and happy to learn new plates or hep in the kitchen.

Languages – We speak Italian, English and Spanish. We taught also italian in a school. We love learning languages and we always try to learn something new when we meet somebody

Social Media and Photography - Caterina has a camera, she works as photographer for hotels
and both are happy to work with social media, we managed (while volunteering) an ig page for a school. Jaco is a graphic designer and illustrator, he can do logos and web sites

Babysitting and Eldery Care - Caterina did babysitter work and she did 3 years of nursing school so she can take care of old people

Animal Care - We both love animals. Jaco has a dog and he did the dogsitter

Art - Jaco is a graphic designer and illustrator, so he draws reaaaaally good, Caterina can't draw well but she is really creative and loves to create things like earrings bracialets and she can use the sewing machine to create clothes

Music - Jaco can play electric guitar and doing jam sessions

Driving - we both love driving and we have license. But we are not gonna take with us our car in most of the trips
