Descripción
We are a family (parents around 45 years and 2 girls of 13 and 8 years old) involved in an eco touristic project : host tourist and events in a place eco built and eco maintained. We are at the beginning of the adventure and we plan to built Zomes, do permaculture, protect and manage biodiversity.
Anne is coach, speaker and teacher in ecologic entrepreneurship; she organizes also the events and manage communication. She was previously in charge of biodiversity management (3000ha) in Camargue.
Virgile is the builder and gardener. He was previously in charge of quality, environnement and project management as work supervisor in civil engineering for Vinci.
Oriane is an adolescent and spend most of her time in his bedroom but she enjoy playing board games, balls games or creative activities. She love speaking English and enjoy also practice Spanish as she studies at a bilingual high school.
Ines is an active girl who like playing with our guests in different ways : football, swimming pool, pétanque, dancing, painting, video games... It is better to have a basic level of French to interact with her.
We are looking for handy and active man/woman to help us with a variety of tasks : inside the house or outside in every seasons. We are not fond of digital nomad because we consider Workaway as a sharing philosophy and not an utility.
But most of all we are looking people who like relationships and considered that coming in our home is helping us like a friend or a family member. We love meeting people and travel to discover other cultures and way of life. So someone who enjoys social interactions is important for us.
It's also important for us that you feel involved in our place and do not view this as an exchange of "work" for accommodation.
As a consequence we are looking for mature (mentality, not necessarily age) and independent people who demonstrates initiative and can see by themselves what's need to be done (especially maintenance like cleaning or preparing the meals).
As a part of our family for a while we will share the life in our home and also be attentive to everyone's need for privacy and quietude.
As everyone is different we consider that, if needed, it is important to talk together with the most open mind possible in order to make life together as smooth and respectful as possible.
The ecosite is on 4,5 ha of land and wood, quite a big game area !
Consider that our place is quite isolated : 3km from the small village, 10km for a bigger village with shops.
We eat organic as most as possible, not vegetarian but few meat eaters.
We have 2 cats and a dog, 2 donkeys, chickens... among a wide range of wild animals !
We prefer no smoking guests.
We are located in the south of Toulouse, in Comminges (45mn by car or train, railway station next 10km).

Ayuda
You will help and moreover learn in a collaborative & volunteering project for building the zomes & the self-catering house, the events zone, the site's infrastructures etc.
Your participation can be also in the garden, in the wood, to maintain the outdoor furnitures / equipment, etc.
We need also help at home and with the children (cooking, playing, care).
And because we have a big garden, we will enjoy picking fruits and cooking jams together ;-)
If you have IT skills it could be interesting for us that you give us advices on our blog and social medias.
We host events (personal development, wellness, art, ecology themes) from May to October. It could be possible for you to participate at some workshops.
Notice that if we host people, your help will be for our personal needs or for a volunteering learning workshop.
At home, the host buy food and we cook together with the workawayer.
Consider that the daily cooking and maintenance of the house is not time of work; it's considered as everyday life.
Note that we buy mostly local and organic food as well as sustainable maintenance home products.
Out of home, if we organise an outing, the workawayer pays for their meal, the admission fee, etc. -

He speaks very good french which was so nice for communication with our girls.
He helps Virgile outside, to built a zome and clean the wood.
