Hi there!

People make me the happiest:) I’ve always been naturally curious of what makes a person unique which is why I’m motivated to go out and meet people across the world.

I started traveling in May of 2021 after a long year and a half of online college classes and work. This has always been a dream of mine and now I am finally making that dream a reality. It has been through my travels that I have discovered my love for writing and rediscovered painting as a hobby. Being out of one's comfort zone is when one sees the most growth and I can't wait to fill up on more knowledge and personal interests.

In the past I have created websites for small local businesses/startups. I have a basic skill set in graphic design related to logos, album art, and social media content. For the businesses that I have created websites for, I also assisted in their digital strategy to maximize their social presence. I would consider the above my digital skills, but I am also a quick learner and easily adaptable.

I have picked up painting again since being in Peru. I will paint just about any object as long as I have the right materials and so on. I stick mainly with acrylic but I would like to try my hand out with a new medium (oil, water).

Throughout my schooling and teen years, I would babysit and nanny for children ranging from one years old to fifteen years old. This involved playing games for learning, preparing their meals, driving them to activities, and showing them the attention and love that children need.

I’ve recently taken up cooking as a hobby since the beginning of quarantine. I mainly cook Mediterranean inspired meals, but I would love to venture out into a new style. I am also an avid reader. I have trouble answering the “what’s your favorite genre or author” question because it really doesn’t matter to me. You can hand me any book and I’ll be happy. My favorite book of all time is "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Mitch Albom.

Much love for this hostel and their kind staff!

I stayed here for about two weeks and a half and my job was to paint a mural on a first floor wall. I was given all the supplies I needed to work with and was able to choose the hours that I spent painting. As a volunteer, you have plenty of time and space to explore. I had a lovely one month stay at the hacienda. This place is great if you like spending time outdoors - I took many walks in the forest area/river. All the animals and the people really made this place special.
