I'm Victor but you can call me Lucky, from Canada. I'm here because I love animals, rural life, and I'm really interested in learning more about self-sufficiency and low-impact lifestyles. I think Workaway is a really beautiful way to grow by helping others, meeting new people, and seeing new things! When I'm not working, I'm hiking, camping, reading, and trying to teach myself new skills. My studies in Canada were in history and philosophy.

Que habilidades tienes?

- gardening, I grew up helping my parents grow beans, tomatoes, and more in our backyard gardens.
- woodworking, I spent years doing set construction for theatres, building stairs, ramps, railings, walls, etc. I'm very comfortable with handtools and electric tools, but I always want to learn more and get better
- Customer service, I was formally trained in customer service, and every job I've had has required me to train new staff and collaborate in large teams, so if I wasn't fun or easy to work with I would have been pretty terrible at my previous jobs
- I've painted a lot, so I have no trouble with interior painting.
- English native speaker, currently learning intermediate/advanced French.
- I love cooking for other people (way more than I enjoy cooking for myself!), and that motivates me to find new recipes and push my abilities in the kitchen

My most niche skill is that I was a technician for my university's drama and music departments for 4 years: construction/carpentry, audio mixing, theatrical lighting, etc.
