Hello! I’m Borna, a 21-year-old from Croatia hoping for a summer of hard work and new experiences.

I’m a big believer in the 'team first' mentality. I’m a tidy person who keeps my space organized, but I’m definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty in the garden or on a campsite.

I’m looking for my first volunteering experience to challenge myself and connect with a community.

A great guy and a super volunteer, Borna was at the heart of everything good happening here and rapidly became a vital member of our community. Most of the time we were harvesting chestnuts, but he was really up for any task that was asked of him. Highly recommended.

Hard to describe the magic of this place in words and just how special it is.
Colm, on top of being an amazing cook, is one of the friendliest, most welcoming people you will ever meet. I stayed nearly 3 weeks to help with the chestnut harvest and by surprise found a place that felt more like my home.

Borna is a great guy who wants to explore the world and increase his knowledge. This was his first workaway and he proved to be reliable and patient. He is quieter in communication, but I believe that this will improve with more experience abroad. He did everything we agreed on, to the best of his ability

This was my first ever workaway and It truly was an incredible three weeks that went by too quickly !
