Hi, I’m Betül — a Belgian girl with Turkish roots, a big heart for the world, and an even bigger love for life. Nothing makes me feel more alive than traveling, connecting with people, and discovering the beauty in different cultures. I bring a diverse set of skills and experiences that I’ve developed both through my education and in real-life settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, where I strengthened my abilities in communication, management, and problem-solving. I'm particularly strong in mathematics and languages — I speak Turkish, English, Dutch, French, and a bit of German.

During my studies, I had the chance to go on Erasmus in England, which not only improved my academic and language skills but also expanded my cultural awareness and adaptability. Currently, I work as a senior risk consultant, a role that has tested and refined my ability to stay calm under pressure, find solutions in complex situations, and remain positive and proactive even during challenges.

On a more personal level, coming from a big family with many young children has given me plenty of experience in caring for and teaching little ones — something I truly enjoy. I’m also actively involved in community work in my village, where I give testimonials and help raise awareness around inclusivity, disabilities, and cultural understanding. It’s important to me that we build a world rooted in respect, empathy, and connection.

Outside of work and travel, I love to stay active and have fun with the little things in life. Dancing is something that always lifts my spirits, and I recently picked up surfing — still learning, but completely hooked! This year, I also started roller skating... let’s just say I spend more time on the ground than actually skating, but I’m loving every second of it.

I enjoy creative moments too, like coloring to relax or belting out karaoke (even if I sound like a dying cat — it’s all about the fun, right?). Spending time with my family and going out with friends are things that bring me the most joy. I’m always up for a laugh, a challenge, and new adventures, no matter how small or silly they are.
