Hi! We’re Antonia and Ben, a couple from the UK who first met while working for a medical charity in Colombia, designing, making, and providing prosthetic limbs across the country. That experience sparked our shared love for travel, cultural exchange, and meaningful connection and we’ve been exploring together ever since.

From late 2025 to mid-2026, we’ll be travelling through Central America and are looking for Workaway opportunities where we can contribute our skills, meet incredible people, and learn from the communities we visit.

Who We Are

🔹 Antonia is a primary school teacher in London with over three years of experience. She has a strong background in content writing and currently manages the social media for a yoga influencer, blending her professional and creative talents. She grew up speaking Portuguese, studied Spanish at university, and is passionate about languages, communication, and education. In her spare time, she enjoys Pilates, reading, and exploring new cuisines and cultures.

🔹 Ben works in mental healthcare, providing CBT therapy for the NHS and leading nature walks for people struggling with their mental health through a local charity. He previously worked in medical engineering, so he’s hands-on, technically-minded, and a natural problem solver. He also holds a Level 5 TEFL qualification, which he put to use teaching English during his last Workaway in Colombia. Ben is a keen hiker and long-distance runner, with a love for both everyday and extreme sports.
