Hi, I'm Arthur! 👋

I'm a 31-year-old French traveller, professional chef, and former owner-manager of my own hotel and restaurant in France.

I'm currently doing a 3 months trip in south-east Asia. I'm starting with Thailand and probably Laos and Vietnam after.

I'm looking for a nice and welcoming place to start my adventure. I'm a friendly person with a lot of different skills. I used to have many hats every day: chef, manager, handyman, receptionist, cleaner, gardener, problem solver... whatever needed to be done, I did it.
I'm a self and quick learner, so I can adapt myself pretty easily for almost anything, I'm also good at finding solutions.

Cooking is my main passion. I love discovering new products, traditional recipes and culture. For me food is a really good way to connect with people .


I speak French, strong English, and basic Spanish.

Outside of work, I'm curious by nature and love meeting people from all over the world. I enjoy meaningful conversations, board games, discovering local traditions, and spending time outdoors. Water sports are my favourite activities, especially surfing, wakeboarding, and scuba diving, but I'm always keen to try something new.

I'm also a huge animal lover. Whether it's dogs, cats, horses, or farm animals, I'm always happy to help take care of them—and they usually become my best friends very quickly!

I did a four month backpaging 6 years ago in Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam, and it was really amazing (I did 3 workaway but I don't have the access to this account because it was a shared one with someone I lost contact to).
they confirmed how much I enjoy this way of travelling: living with locals, contributing to meaningful projects, and creating genuine connections.

I'm not looking just for free accomodation, but to connect with people. I'm a really hard worker, who loves learning new things and meeting people.

This trip has a big meaning for me, I sadly had to leave my project for personal reasons , so it's a real new start in my life.
